Join me at the Summer Swing this Saturday!

It's almost here!

Finally, the Strawberry Swing Indie Craft Fair's 6th Annual Summer Swing is upon us! I am SO excited about this event. Once again I'll be surrounded by 90+ talented makers and artists. It's gonna be HOT in more ways than one! But don't worry, Sweet Caroline's Ice Box will be there with cold sweet treats for all.

I've added a bunch of new prints since the last show, along with NEW coloring pages, hot-off-the-press Limited Edition Salvy tanks AND another small batch of Limited Edition tees

But I think what I'm most excited about is that I'll be offering custom watercolor lettering on-site throughout the day. First come, first serve until I run out of paper or my hand falls off. :) 5x7 original watercolors with your 1-3 word phrase or name will be available on-demand for just $15!

I hope to see you there! Don't forget to RSVP to the Facebook event and SHARE it with your friends!!

The Strawberry Swing Indie Craft Fair's Spring Swing

I had the pleasure of participating in this year's Spring Swing put on by the Strawberry Swing Indie Craft Fair. This is the second Spring event they've held and boy was it amazing! They were voted one of the Top 35 Indie Craft Fairs in the country by Buzzfeed, and now I know first hand why.

I also had the honor of designing the flyer and social media graphics for the event! Here's the Facebook cover image.

There were around 100 amazingly talented and passionate makers at this thing (including my booth neighbors Art by JenF and Ozark Herbal Creations). I felt so honored to be in their company. The crowds were energetic and on a mission to support the local businesses represented at the fair. And the ominous clouds couldn't keep them away! (Amazingly, the rain stopped just in time Saturday morning and held off until right at the end of the fair on Sunday.)

This was my very first craft show experience and I had a ton of fun! There was so much work involved getting ready - building a booth from scratch, developing new products, packing inventory, getting the word out, and so on. It was so fulfilling to see it all come together at the show and to get to interact with fair-goers. I had a really great time.

My booth featured all of my current product, including custom Royals inspired tees (which sold like hot cakes!), custom hand lettered greeting cards and fine art prints, custom designer pillow covers, and limited edition collector's enamel pins.

As I continue to build out the retail arm of my business, I do anticipate attending more of these events. Stay tuned for info on upcoming shows!

I recently developed some new branding for my line of custom hand lettered product. Let me introduce you to lettered

Over the next several weeks, I'll be spending a fair amount of time fully developing this collection. It will include fine art prints, stationary, home decor, printables, and apparel. Here's a sampling of what you can currently find in the shop.

I am excited to build out this branch of my business along with the design, marketing, and custom lettering services I currently provide. If you're interested in talking about a custom piece or collaboration, drop me a line!
